A recognized leader in his field and an energetic speaker, Visconti has appeared regularly on Fox, MSNBC and CNBC television networks and has also been quoted in articles related to diversity in such publications as The New York Times, BusinessWeek and The Wall Street Journal.
At DiversityInc, more than half of the employees are women, and 65 percent are people of color. The levels of diversity are equally represented across all levels of salary and responsibility, and the company also offers partner benefits.
The annual Martin Luther King, Jr. breakfast is the largest event in the Pacific Northwest to honor the memory and vision of Dr. King. Last year's event attracted over 1,000 people, including Gov. Ted Kulongoski, representatives from state government and many corporate sponsors including State Farm, Kaiser Permanente and McDonald's Corporation.
During the breakfast, The Skanner Foundation awards thousands of dollars in scholarships to worthy students and presents two awards, the Drum Major of Justice Award and The John Jackson Award. To nominate an individual, organization or business for these awards, or to recommend a student for a scholarship, email [email protected]. Be sure to include your name and phone number, the name and phone number of the nominee and a short (50-word) paragraph describing why the nominee deserves to win.
