The Skanner Foundation’s 36th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Breakfast was held Monday, January 17, 2022, as a virtual event out of caution for another surge in the COVID pandemic. Attendees included community members, local organizations, leaders and elected officials. 

Scholarships were awarded to an impressive group of 28 students. The scholarships were funded by MLK Breakfast sponsors University of Oregon, PGE, USDA Forest ServiceOregon Lottery, Prosper Portland, Kaiser Permanente, Safeway, Providence Health & Services, Metro, Multnomah County, PepsiCo, Chenoweth Law Group, Enterprise Holdings, Wells Fargo, Turner Construction, Pacific Power, the City of Portland, OACR - Oregon Alliance of Clinical Researchers and The Skanner Foundation.
