EDUCATION FIRST. Participate in the Back to School Supplies Drive. Drop off supplies 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Friends of the Children, 44 N.E. Morrison St.

BLOCK PARTY. The Oregon Bus Project hosts a door-to-door canvas and block party. Come for breakfast and training before going out to register voters and talk about the Healthy Kids Initiative. 10 a.m. Block party with music and games at 2 p.m. Uthank Park, 501 N. Failing St.

ARTS FESTIVAL. Enjoy the work of 70 artists, a jazz band, tree dancers and more at the 5th annual Arts Festival in the Forest. 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Mary S. Young Park, 20100 Willamette Dr., West Linn.
